Special Visit #2

Rocco has been very lucky this year - he has had the pleasure of having two of my family members visit all the way from Italy.

The past three weeks were absolutely fabulous as we had Zia Franca visiting us. It was immediate love for Zia and Rocco shared the same feelings. It was quite touching when Rocco saw Zia for the first time in the airport, he was immediately warm towards her - something that he rarely does with strangers. His reaction all brought us to realize...Rocco was thinking Zia Franca was Nonna Liliana.

We did our best to see Zia every day and have her spend as much time as she could with her great-great nephew. Zia was even so brave as to stay at our house for two days - Rocco of course loved the company and the extra attention!

Zia pulled out all her special tricks that made us all smile as children and without a doubt made Rocco belly laugh!

In our usual way we took many pictures that are here to share. Zia has since returned to Rome and it was sad to see her go, but we will hopefully be able to make a trip soon enough to visit her and introduce Rocco to the rest of "la famiglia!!!"
